The Troodos Hospital belongs to the network of the State Health Services Organization (OKYpY), together with the other seven hospitals that geographically cover the entire free areas of Cyprus, serving daily patients from 84 communities in the regions of Pitsilia, Solea, Marathasa, as well as the wider areas of Limassol and Nicosia. The hospital has an Accident & Emergency Department, which was fully renovated in 2022, a Clinical Laboratory, and a Radiology Department, where a CT scanner will soon be installed and put into operation. The hospital stands out for its modern Pulmonology – Tuberculosis Clinic, with 16 beds, which will also be operational soon. In total, the hospital has 40 beds, 17 medical staff, 46 nursing officers, and 11 health professionals, offering high-level primary and secondary healthcare services.

What should I know before my appointment with the specialist doctor?
Before your appointment with the specialist doctor, you must obtain a referral for the specific specialty from your personal doctor.

How do I reschedule a follow-up appointment?
Either through the specialist doctor during your first appointment, through the OKYPY website, or by calling the call center at 25806700.

Do I need to pay for a doctor’s visit?
For GESY beneficiaries, the fee is €6.00 with a referral and €25.00 without a referral.

Inpatients

Upon admission, the patient must obtain an inpatient care referral from their personal doctor, a specialist doctor, or the Accident and Emergency Department.
